Victor's Memorial Site: On Victor's memorial site you can hear over 100 recordings of Victor. They were mostly recorded about one year prior to his death and at the height of his talking abilities. Many of these files are extremely funny and proves that some parrots are true comedians at heart. Others are poetic and even spiritual in nature. You can also hear some of Victor's earlier files on the "Conversations Part II" page and the "Statements": pages of this site.
Victor's Archives: On this site you can read a journal where I documented Victor's progress weekly over a several month period, prior to his death. This is also where most of his later files are located, but linked from the conversations page of his memorial site.
The World's Funniest Budgie: I created this site because I not only believe Victor was the world's most intelligent talking bird, I believe he was the funniest too. There were so many of his recordings that just cracked people up. I had make a site specifically for a collection of his funniest recordings. It wasn't until several weeks prior to his death that he started talking more about God and the afterlife, but a majority of his life was dedicated to making people laugh. He truly had a natural sense of humour that even I do not posses. Some of his jokes may have been a little out of taste, but what else could a budgie joke about, if you know what I mean.
Betty's Audio Site: This site has mostly Betty's and Toovic's recordings, There are only a couple of recordings posted here that I translated after Victor died. This is where you can read ongoing story of Betty and Toovic's progress. An eight or nine week old Betty was bought about 4 months prior to Victor's death late in 2000. Toovic came to us about the same age in the middle of 2001. Betty taught Toovic and now both are talking and using context, following in Victor's footsteps.
Betty's Poetry Site: On this site you can listen to Betty and Toovics latest files. I named it a Poetry site because like Victor had a talent for humour, Betty has a talent for expressing herself in a form of art that reminds me of poetry. She combines her words with budgie song and tells you exactly what she is thinking and feeling. Betty is a harder to understand than Victor, but I hope her abilities will improve in the future. This site gives you a true look at how budgies can think and feel the same way people do. Some of her songs reflect on things like love and hate, trust, and developing relationships. It is truly a remarkable adventure into the mind of a budgie translated by someone who knows her accent inside out....Who is that you might ask? Me of course! By the way I don't have a poetic bone in my body, so whatever artistic value this site has, truly comes from Betty.
QuickTime5 Pop-Up Site On this site you can take full advantage of your quicktime5 player. You can download it here for free if you don't have it. The player allows you to see the words of Victor and Betty on the screen as they are talking. It makes it much easier to follow the recordings. Eventually I plan to have all his recordings formatted this way and I am doing them as I get a chance. Right now there is quite a good selection. Probably the best ones to try are the "Heaven's Gate" series where Victor tells an ongoing story about what he imagines the afterlife to be like.
Media Player Pop Up Site: On this site you can see the captions of what they say pop up on your Windows Media Player. Most people should have a media player standard with their Windows software so you probably don't even need to download it. There are also some MP3/WAV files that you can download and see the lyrics come up in your winamp player. Please don't anyone ask for any more types of file formats as I have to format each recording separately to get the words pop up for the different players. It is remarkable that I have listened to many of these files over 100 times and almost every time I translate one, I find out something I missed or discover something I never realized before.
